SAN DIEGO (Dec. 13, 2000) Henry
DeVries will serve as the 2001 president of the High-Tech
Marketing Alliance (formerly known as CEMA), San Diegos
leading high-tech marketing organization.
HTMA members re-elected DeVries to serve
another year as president. One of the original founders of
CEMA, DeVries is the immediate past president and has held
various positions on the board of directors during the past
15 years.
During his term in 2000, DeVries led the
efforts to rename and refocus the 15-year-old organization.
HTMA will switch from breakfast meetings to a series of luncheon
panel seminars and after-work networking events in 2001.
HTMA meetings are held at 11:30 a.m. the
first Wednesday of every month (except July) at the Radisson
Hotel La Jolla, just off Interstate 5 at La Jolla Village
Drive.
DeVries is president of his own high-tech
and B2B marketing communications firm, Henry DeVries/Communications.
Active in the community, DeVries also serves on the board
of the UCSD Alumni Association, the SDSU Aztec Athletic Foundation
and is an instructor at UCSD Extension. He lives in Ramona
with his wife Vikki and their four children.
HTMA is a marketing forum specifically
